Zombie Science 1Z (opens in new window)

Zombie Science 1Z is a spoof lecture on the real science behind the undead, perfect for secondary school children and adults. It teaches audiences about bioscience topics including; genetics, virology, and prion disease.

Our latest show, ‘Zombie Science 1Z’, a spoof lecture about bioscience for teenagers and adults, was performed over 150 times to audiences exceeding 10,000 around the UK. Much of this audience was from a hard to reach background, with 80% from disadvantaged urban areas. The project received a wealth of critical acclaim, five star reviews (e.g. http://www.edinburghspotlight.com/2011/04/review-zombie-science-iz-a-spooflecture-on-the-undead/), and achieved over 12,000 words of publicity in newspapers (e.g. http://www.timeshighereducation.co.uk/story.asp?storyCode=415958&sectioncode=26), magazines, and online.
